A couple more stocks did indeed surpass the 2% gain threshold today, bringing the success rate of my first 76 'imaginary' trades to 81.6%. I can live with that - just hope this new system continues to perform as well over time as it has initially. And of course, I will keep inputting the data into the spreadsheets each day to see if we have something we can count on. Now that would be nice!

I bought a couple of stocks today. This first one is Coral Gold Resources (CLHRF) and I payed $0.78 per share. My trading record shows that I bought this stock at the end of August for just 32 cents. Wow, those were the days, weren't they? I mean, talk about inflation!

This is one of the few stocks that did not do much yesterday and I hoped it would today, but alas, it closed down a penny lower than my buy price.

My other purchase today was of B2 Gold Corp (BGLPF) at $2.32. While my first purchase was for a stock that is selling just above book value (CLHRF), this stock (BGLPF) expects earnings to nearly triple in 2011, from .06 to .17 cents per share.

I continue to hope that the inverted head and shoulders pattern on the 1 hour gold futures contract (/GC) will bear good things for the bulls, and soon.
