Who Spoiled the Party Today?

Well if it wasn't 'ol Mr. US Dollar, up to his old tricks again.  He went and spoiled a perfectly good gold miner rally and left some children crying.  That mean old Dollar has his nerve!

I must say though, it was easy enough to see him coming - at least if you looked.

Check out this chart of UUP, proxy for the US Dollar.  That divergence was something to tell those children 'stay out of the way' of.

Look at that tall tree he has got himself stuck at the very top.  He'll just have to come down from there and trust me, he will!  Really, he has no choice.  And while he does come down, all the children will laugh and play and it will be as though this day never happened.
